All welcome – see you there!
About Patrick Nolan: Patrick began practicing yoga in his hometown of
Key West in 1997 and he believes passionately its power to transform
one's life from the inside out. He has practiced various styles,
including Bikram, Sivananda, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga. His teachers
include Kino Macgregor, Greg Nardi, Tim Feldmann, and Angelique Sandas.
In 2009 Patrick made his first of what will be many trips to Mysore, India to study Ashtanga yoga with the living masters of that tradition,
Saraswathi Rangaswamy and her son Sharath.
While a devoted practitioner
of yoga, Patrick is also an elite athlete, competing nationally and
internationally in Olympic sport tae kwon do. He trains with three-time
Olympian and coach of the 2008 Olympic team Juan Moreno. Patrick's
understanding of human anatomy and kinesiology is therefore informed
by his experience both as a yogin and as an athlete. His classes are
demanding and fun. (Bio from Miami Life Center.)
